Frigid-X™ Cabinet Enclosure Cooler Food Industry and Pharmaceutical Applications
A very critical electrical control panel with 10 horsepower of frequency drives in a remote pharmaceutical operation was overheating during the summer. Previously they had tried external fans that were inadequate in the hot summer days. They tried an HCFC based air conditioner on the panel but the compressor tended to fail during the hottest days. Reliability was extremely important so they installed a model 63025 Frigid-X™ Cabinet Enclosure Cooler control panel cooling system with on-off control. The unit normally was not required to operate in the winter so the thermostat and solenoid valve automatically turned the unit on when needed, and off when adequately cooler. They got both reliability and essentially maintenance free operation
